STEP Keypad Reader is a card reader with keypad developed to create a smooth passage throughout the property, without compromising on security or aesthetics. It is our own construction, developed and produced by us, in Sweden.

Designed in a minimalist design all in black to suit the Scandinavian market.

With built-in Bluetooth receiver

A built-in bluetooth receiver enables safe and easy openings via your smartphone, even in places where there may be poor mobile coverage.

Smart multi-technology

STEP Keypad Reader is preconfigured from the start. It is equipped with smart multi-technology that gives authorized persons three easy ways to gain access:

Hold the tag up in front of the card reader.
Enter your personal code.
Open the StepLock Pro app on your mobile and press the »Unlock» icon on the relevant door.

STEP Reader vs STEP Keypad reader

STEP Reader is an extremely compact card reader without a keypad. With its minimal dimensions, it can be placed even in tight spaces.

STEP Keypad Reader is used to advantage where higher security requirements exist, or where requirements for both tag and code exist.

Secure OSDP communication

Both card readers ensure maximum security and use the open protocol OSDP for communication with the door central. Both read most existing reading technologies within the MiFare standard and are tested with MiFare Classic, MiFare DesFire EV1, EV2 and EV3.

Unlimited flexibility

The card readers can be perfectly combined with our other access solutions. In addition, STEP Mobile opening is always included. All authorized persons can download the StepLock Pro app and unlock the doors they are authorized to directly in the app.

Various properties or detached units

STEP Keypad Reader can have many more uses. For example, you can use it to unlock a gate or an electric car cable pole. You can also place it completely free-standing, for example at the door of the environmental shed or on a private rubbish chute. The possibilities are many.

Simple and secure administration

All administration takes place easily and securely in our cloud-based admin platform. This is where you, as the administrator, add and remove users or manage access rights, etc.

Since the platform is cloud-based, the entire system can be managed easily and securely – anywhere, anytime, and on any device. This means, for example, that you can add new devices or users from your computer at home at the kitchen table in the morning, to distribute a temporary authorization from your mobile phone in the gym in the evening.
