All STEP electric strikes are fully rated against the current Swedish and European standard for electrical strikes, SS-EN 14846. After testing at RISE, we have received certificates and P-labels for our products.
A declaration of performance, DOP, recognizes the characteristics of the products and is the basis for the CE marking. To make it easy to compare different products with eachother, the reporting is the same throughout the EU. The CE mark is a symbol that guarantees that certain requirements are met and that correct checks have been made. On the CE mark, you find information about product performance, for example how well it can withstand a fire. All STEPs electric strikes have a DOP and are CE marked.
Some of our electric strikes are CE marked as fire products. These are products that has passed different types of fire tests conducted by an independent third party. We have products approved for use in type-approved or CE marked doors up to fire class E/EI120.
We have electric strikes tested and approved for use in safety doors up to RC4 (requirements for doors in swedish protection class 3) according to the standard for burglary protection doors, SS-EN 1627.

All our electric strikes and solenoid handle lock has a declaration of performance (DOP) and are CE marked.
A declaration of performance recognizes the characteristics of the products and is the basis for the CE marking. To make it easy to compare different products with eachother, the reporting is the same throughout the EU. In the performance declaration you will find information about what the product is intended to be used for, who made it and where it was tested.
All of our electric strikes and solenoid handle locks are CE marked. The certificate shows that the products meet the requirements of the standard SS-EN 14846:2008.
